Star Video Downloader is a local Mac app. Downloads happen between your Mac and the source website. The app does not require an account, and it does not send your video files to Star Video Downloader servers for processing.
License validation uses Gumroad when you activate or validate a Pro license. Support-bundle export is manual and only happens if you choose to generate a file for troubleshooting.
The marketing website uses Google Analytics for basic site measurement. That helps us understand which pages are useful and which guides people find before downloading the app. The website may also send form submissions through Formspree if you use the contact form.
